It is officially that time of year when humans dress up as ghouls and pets look at us with deep, profound judgment.

To celebrate, Newport Fred Meyer is hosting a month-long "Howl-O-Ween" Pet Food and Supply Drive this October!

Local families and their furry/feathered/scaly friends need our help. We will be collecting all donations for the shelter and distributing what we can't use to amazing local organizations.

How you can help (without having to wear a costume):

• Drop off pet food or supplies at the donation box inside Newport Fred Meyer anytime in October.

• Share this message with your friends, family, neighbors, and anyone who stops to pet a dog on the street.
