LINCOLN CITY, Ore. — Lincoln City dancer Hoku LaSoya is creating a one woman show that will take place at the Lincoln City Cultural Center auditorium on the evening of Saturday, May 16th featuring a mix of dance styles and music with integrated video between live performances. This show will take you on a wild journey with a young performance artist.

 

Two years ago Hoku self produced her first show “Volcano of Dance”. It was a huge success and nearly sold out. For this show, “Hurricane Hoku”, she has widened her skillset and developed impressive techniques.

 

At 11 years old, Hoku has been practicing classical ballet for 8 years and participated in 41 ballet performances. She started Irish dancing at five years old and regularly performed with a group. Two years ago she started competitive Irish dancing and has been winning medals and trophies ever since. If that…
