Oregon Coast Council for the Arts Connects Creativity and Nature with Free Workshops at Yakona Nature Preserve

NEWPORT, OR: Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) is partnering with the Yakona Nature Preserve & Learning Center to present a diverse lineup of four outdoor classes designed to immerse participants in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Ranging from hands-on printmaking and plein air oil painting to mindfulness in the woods, these community workshops will take place throughout August and September.

Thanks to generous grant funding and community support, all four events are being offered entirely at no cost to the public. While registration is free, space is limited for each session, and pre-registration is required to attend. Community donations are always welcome and help sustain affordable local arts programming.
