About the class: Learn to make a Valhalla Ladder, sometimes referred to as a “wind sculpture” or driftwood garland. It is said that while exploring lands, Vikings would gather driftwood from new shores as souvenirs and string them up on display in their homes after returning from their travels. We’ll start by exploring the beach nearby (weather permitting) and collect any driftwood or shells we come across. We’ll then take our “souvenirs” back to the classroom and assemble them into a garland to take home and display.

Additional info: All class materials will be provided. Students may bring their own pieces of collected driftwood or shells (optional). Maximum 12 students.
